Weldable & Interlocking
Inform rail stocks two part welded adjustable crane rail clips. These clips consist of a top clip and lower weldable forged steel component that interlock, slide and tighten together.
The rail clips are designed and perform as friction connections and must be carefully tightened to the prescribed torque.
The clip top comes with a vulcanized synthetic pressure block. These clips are installed with a standard hex bolt and nut.
Through Bolt
Inform rail stocks through bolt rail clips which are designed so appreciable bending loads are not developed.
The crane rail clip features a circular cam that locks the clip into position against the rail. The clip is designed and performs as a bearing connection.
The rail clip capacity varies with the bolt diameter, grade of the bolt and the design of the total connection.
Ax Expansion
The AX expansion adjustable clips have been used on crane runways to allow the rail to freely expand and contract.
Traditionally, AX clips have been successfully used in hot climates where higher temperatures cause larger extremes in the expansion and contraction of the length of the crane rail.
