CLX-24 Through-Bolt Crane Rail Clip

The CLX-24 is an M24 through-bolt crane rail clip designed as a bearing-type connection with an extended lateral adjustment range. It is the heaviest duty bolted clip in the range, providing higher bolt capacity and lateral load resistance than the CLX-20 for demanding heavy crane rail and standard rail applications.

Like the CLX-20, the extended lateral adjustment range makes the CLX-24 suited to installations where wider alignment tolerance is required during installation or re-alignment. The M24 bolt gives significantly higher load capacity, making it appropriate for heavier rail sections and higher lateral load conditions including ports, heavy industrial facilities and demanding mining applications.

The clip body and cam can be hot-dip galvanized without reducing lateral resistance ratings. The clip top incorporates a vulcanized synthetic pressure block for rail retention and load absorption, replaceable without replacing the entire clip top assembly.

If your rail profile is A75 or heavier, or your lateral load requirements are high, the CLX-24 is generally the preferred option over the CLX-20.
What bolt size does the CLX-24 use?
The CLX-24 uses a standard M24 hex bolt with nut and hardened washer. This is the largest bolt size in the CL and CLX bolted clip range, providing the highest load capacity of the bolted clip series. For applications where M20 is sufficient, the CLX-20 or CL4-20 are available.
