CL3-12 Bolted Rail Clip (M12)
Through-bolt crane rail clip with M12 bolt. Bearing-type connection for light duty crane rail and light rail installations. Adjustable, hot-dip galvanizable, no minimum order.
CL3-12 Through-Bolt Crane Rail Clip
The CL3-12 is an M12 through-bolt crane rail clip designed as a bearing-type connection for light duty crane rail and light rail installations. It uses a circular cam mechanism to lock the clip body against the rail foot, providing secure lateral restraint while allowing future adjustment or rail replacement.
The clip body and cam can be hot-dip galvanized without reducing lateral resistance ratings, making the CL3-12 suitable for outdoor and corrosive environments. The clip top incorporates a vulcanized synthetic pressure block for rail retention and load absorption.
Installation uses a standard M12 hex bolt, nut and hardened washer. The modular pressure block can be replaced without replacing the entire clip top assembly, reducing long-term maintenance cost.

Rail Profiles the CL3-12 Suits
The CL3-12 is suited to lighter crane rail and light rail profiles where an M12 bolt configuration is appropriate. For heavier profiles requiring higher lateral load capacity, the CL4-16, CL4-20 or CLX series may be more suitable. Not sure which clip suits your application? Send us your rail profile and we'll advise.
Where the CL3-12 is Used
The CL3-12 suits installations where an M12 through-bolt configuration is appropriate and where future rail adjustability or replacement is a consideration. As a bearing-type connection it is robust, cost-effective and simpler to install than welded clip systems.
