M120 Welded Rail Clip
Two-part welded crane rail clip with weldable forged steel base and replaceable clip top. Friction connection suited to medium to heavy duty crane rail installations. No minimum order.
M120 Two-Part Welded Crane Rail Clip
The M120 is a two-part welded crane rail clip consisting of a replaceable clip top and a lower weldable forged steel base. The two components interlock, slide and tighten together to clamp the rail foot securely to the supporting structure. The base is welded to the beam or sole plate during installation.
The M120 is designed and performs as a friction connection, meaning it relies on clamping force to transfer lateral loads. It must be carefully tightened to the prescribed torque. Compared to the M71, the M120 is suited to medium to heavy crane rail profiles where higher lateral load capacity is required.
The clip top incorporates a vulcanized synthetic pressure block for rail retention and load absorption. The modular pressure block can be replaced without replacing the entire clip top assembly, reducing long-term maintenance cost.

Rail Profiles the M120 Suits
The M120 is suited to medium to heavy crane rail profiles from A65 through to A150, as well as heavy standard rail. It also suits MRS series crane rail profiles used in port and heavy industrial applications. For the heaviest applications with the highest lateral load requirements, the M165 may be more appropriate. Send us your rail profile and we'll advise.
Where the M120 is Used
The M120 suits permanent installations on medium to heavy crane rail profiles where the base can be welded to the supporting structure. It is widely used in warehouses, fabrication facilities, ports and heavy industrial environments where higher lateral loads require a more substantial welded clip than the M71.
